Hinman 2017 to offer exclusive exhibit hall hours

by Dental Tribune America

ATLANTA, Ga., USA: The Thomas P. Hinman Dental Meeting is introducing exclusive exhibit hall hours this year, on Thursday, March 23, from 3 to 5 p.m. This time will allow attendees one-on-one networking and shopping time, as well as free C.E. opportunities in the Learning Lab Co-Op, Table Clinics and Total Health Pavilion.

“In addition to the new exclusive hours on Thursday, Hinman 2017 offers a number of opportunities to obtain continuing education credit and give back to the No Kid Hungry campaign that helps end child hunger in America,” said Dr. Jane Puskas, general chairman of the Thomas P. Hinman Dental Meeting. “The exhibit hall will feature more than 400 exhibiting companies in Building A that will showcase new technology, equipment, products and services for the entire dental staff.”

The exhibit hall will be open on Thursday, March 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday, March 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, March 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This year, Hinman has partnered with Share Our Strength’s #NoKidHungry campaign, which is focused on providing kids with access to the healthy food they need all year long. In America, one in five kids face hunger this year. Attendees can stop by Booth 137 to contribute monetary donations. Chef demonstrations will be held at the booth on Friday and Saturday, March 24 and 25. The demos will feature Chef Virginia Willis and Cynthia Graubart, both James Beard Award-winning cookbook authors and food writers.

Attendees can obtain free continuing education credit in the exhibit hall throughout the meeting. Table Clinics, held in the back of aisle 1900, offer 135 table-top presentations over three days that are approximately 10 minutes in length and are provided by volunteers in the dental community, including military personnel. Participants receive one hour of CE credit for each hour they spend in the table clinic area. Table Clinic hours are: Thursday, March 23, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m.; Friday, March 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This year, Hinman’s Total Health Pavilion returns, where attendees can learn about healthy living, sample nourishing snacks and talk to lifestyle experts, as well as earn complimentary CE. The pavilion is in booth 1553. The exhibit hall will also feature the Learning Lab Co-Op, Hinman’s newest pavilion offering table-top demonstrations by exhibitors and Lab Tech professionals and free CE daily.
