JOB DESCRIPTION

We are reinforcing our ceramic materials department of our Research & Development sector at the company headquarters in Schaan, Principality of Liechtenstein, and are therefore looking for a:

506 - Research Associate Ceramic Development (m/f)

Duties and responsibilities:
Your work will focus on the development of new ceramic and glass-ceramic materials and the associated procedures for processing them for dental uses. You will assume the responsibility for the (sub-) management of fundamental research projects.
You will test innovative techniques in independent experimental laboratory work and you will be responsible for the associated literature and patent research.
You will work closely with different departments within and outside the Research & Development sector as well as with external collaborators, and you will be responsible for monitoring the latest developments, e.g. by attending symposia and trade shows

Requirements:

Education:
Master’s degree (university or technical college) in natural science or engineering, preferably in materials engineering or chemistry.

Work experience:
Ideally you should have several years of work experience in an industrial firm in the field of materials engineering (ceramics, glass, glass-ceramics).

Professional experience:
Experience in medical engineering or in the dental industry is an advantage but not a requirement

Project management:
You should be used to a structured approach to project management. Ideally, you should have some experience as a (sub-) project manager

Languages:
German (first language) and English (good spoken and written command).
