VOCO – The Dentalists

VOCO is one of the leading international manufacturers of innovative dental materials within the dental industry, who with its constant research and development efforts continues to set new standards in the development of dental materials. The privately-owned enterprise runs all research, development and manufacturing of its products at its German location. VOCO is certified according to EN ISO 9001/EN 13485 Guideline 93/42 EEC – additional evidence of quality assurance at the highest level and of VOCO top-quality products that are “made in Germany”.

Intensive cooperation with universities worldwide

VOCO researchers work in close cooperation with more than 150 universities and research institutes worldwide, who highly appreciate the expertise of VOCO´s research and development team. VOCO has been leading several research projects cosponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Research. Those projects have led to numerous innovative, useful ideas and products for daily clinical practice.

Milestones in the development of dental materials

VOCO is regarded as a specialist in dental materials. With its product innovations VOCO has acted as a technological forerunner in several areas. One such example is Bifluorid, a reliable transparent fluoride varnish for desensitising, deep fluoridation and prophylaxis. With Grandio VOCO has presented the world´s first nano-hybrid composite which is suitable for all cavity classes and one of the internationally most successful universal restoratives. Grandio reaches a high filler degree and maintains optimal handling properties. It demonstrates that physical material properties, clinical ease of use and handling features are the focus of VOCO´s development efforts.

Products for nearly every indication

Based on intensive research and development VOCO offers 160 high quality materials, exported to more than 120 countries worldwide. VOCO´s complete product range consists of materials for the use in prophylaxis, conservative dentistry and prosthodontics. It includes permanent and temporary restoratives, lining materials, glass ionomer cements, Ormocers, compomers and composites, luting materials, core build-up systems, posts, temporary c&b materials, impression materials, cleansers, adhesives, fissure sealants, fluoride prepara-tions, laboratory products and devices.

The slogan "The Dentalists" expresses VOCO's exclusive specialisation in dentistry. As dental material specialists, we only concentrate on this field of activity and maintain close cooperation with dentists.

VOCO is an international leader in the field of dentistry. With its intensive research and development work, VOCO successfully sets new standards in the development of innovative dental materials again and again. VOCO researchers actively exchange ideas with over 150 universities and international research institutes across the globe. The high competence of the VOCO scientists is valued by many institutes. The company has already been in charge of several projects with dental-specific themes for the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF).
