The UAE International Dental Conference & Arab Dental Exhibition - AEEDC® Dubai is scheduled to be held from 09 - 11 March 2010 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, President of the Dubai Health Authority in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority - DHA, & in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Interior Naturalization and Residency Administration, Dubai United Arab Emirates, supported by the FDI World Dental Federation, Arab-Asian Scientific Dental Alliance, Arab Dental Federation, Executive Board of the Health Ministers Council for Gulf Cooperation Council States, GCC Oral Health Committee, Riyadh Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy, Indian Orthodontic Society and Dental Horizons and with the scientific support from International Association for Orthodontics, Academy of General Dentistry and German Society of Oral Implantology.

Over the past years, we have witnessed a continuous growth of this ultimate dental gathering in the Middle East, which covers the whole region as well as North Africa. EXPODENTAL '08 staged its tenth edition between 27th and 29th March last at Feria de Madrid, achieving some excellent commercial results and growth-rates under all headings. In effect, the International Dental Equipment, Supplies and Services Show welcomed 36,200 professionals, which represents a 27.26% increase compared to the last edition back in 2006. The fair also featured strong business participation, based on the attendance of 267 exhibiting companies, an increase of almost 8% compared to the year 2006 edition. The international dimension of the event was also significant, based on the presence of 43 foreign exhibitors and visiting professionals from 63 different countries.

Il corso, della durata di un week-end mensile per cinque mesi, si rivolge agli igienisti dentali che desiderino approfondire le proprie conoscenze, apprendendo le tecniche di pertinenza dell’utilizzo della Luce Laser, onde avere una panoramica sui protocolli sperimentali e le applicazioni cliniche delle varie apparecchiature presenti sul mercato italiano ed internazionale, valutandone pregi e difetti.
Il Corso prevede il venerdì pomeriggio lezioni frontali teoriche ed il sabato esercitazioni pratiche dei partecipanti, per acquisire specifica manualità.
Tutti i partecipanti eseguiranno personalmente sbiancamenti laser-assistiti, desensibilizzazione, fluoroprofilassi, terapia parodontale e perimplantare, nonché applicazioni antalgiche e biostiomolanti, su indicazione medico-specialistica.
Durante il sabato verranno effettuati dai Docenti interventi in life-surgery nel reparto clinico in audio-video conferenza con la sala corsi.
Il corso è in fase di accreditamento ECM.
Al termine del Corso verrà rilasciato dall’Università un attestato di frequenza.

Lo scopo del corso è quello di presentare uno smalto composito nanocaricato con un indice di rifrazione uguale a quello dello smalto naturale e illustrare protocolli operativi ripetibili da applicare nelle diverse situazioni ricostruttive, dalle più semplici a quelle con elevate esigenze estetiche.
