Lighting the way for operations: LED power now with the micro-motor too!

Visibly greater precision when the best vision is essential: Following the successful launch of the Implant Center 2 at IDS 2009, SATELEC (ACTEON Group) improved the high-power generator for implant surgery and now offers it with three autoclavable LED handpieces. The Implant Center 2 LED not only has three times more piezo power, but also provides perfect, constant illumination of the operating field for all conventional or surgical procedures – whether with the Piezotome® 2 LED or Newtron® LED ultrasonic handpiece, and now also with the robust I-Surge™ micro-motor handpiece. At the same time, the user of the high-tech second generation surgical device benefits from the same high precision and selective cutting quality offered by all SATELEC ultrasonic generators.

The Implant Center 2 LED intrigues not only with its clinical versatility, from implantology to periodontal therapy, but also with its high power and strong illumination. Whether cutting, milling, screwing or chiseling, the piezosurgical combination instrument with the new LED micro-motor covers all pre-implant surgical procedures – reliably and with the greatest comfort during treatment.

Three operating modes, three times the power, three times the light!
The new surgical device has over three times more ultrasonic power and three autoclavable light handpieces that use long-life light diodes (a light ring with six LEDs and 100,000 lux). The cool white light source can therefore show colors with outstanding accuracy and ensure a rich contrast for distinguishing tissue types.

The Implant Center 2 LED combines two working units with three operating modes: Based on the latest piezoelectric ultrasonic technology and equipped with the ultra-powerful I-Surge™ electric motor, it gives surgeons and implantologists the greatest possible safety and controlled power for reliable cutting guidance:

Newtron mode: for all conventional ultrasonic applications from periodontal treatment and endodontics to implant maintenance
Piezotome 2 mode: for pre-implant surgery at four different power levels and with a modulated frequency amplitude
I-Surge micro-motor mode: for implant and surgical procedures with a maximum torque of 6 Ncm up to 24,000 rpm!

High power and strong illumination in any surgical situation
Depending on clinical requirements, all three modes of the Implant Center 2 LED can be controlled by the 5.7" color touchscreen. The "Cruise Control® System" enables controlled peak ultrasonic power with automatic frequency tuning, push-pull and feedback system for superior comfort and power control with any tip. The Implant Center 2 LED also has a footswitch with integrated "PiezoTouch" for progressive, hands-free control of the ultrasonic generator and implant motor power levels.

The Implant Center 2 LED was specifically developed for use under the most extreme surgical conditions and ensures a perfect safety/power ratio for the implantologist. The unit allows optimal disinfection and decontamination, versatile and controlled operation and is gentle on the soft tissues and comfortable for the user.
