SCHAAN, Liechtenstein: Ivoclar Vivadent has announced that it has appointed Patric Frank as its new chief of marketing. Frank, who has been with the company since early 2019 and has had extensive experience in marketing and brand management, will help strategically drive Ivoclar Vivadent’s global expansion forward and strengthen its position in the growing dental market worldwide.
As a member of Ivoclar Vivadent’s corporate management, Frank will be responsible for all global business units as well as for the planning and implementation of global marketing strategy. In particular, he will concentrate on further enhancing global awareness of the Ivoclar Vivadent brand as well as on optimising customer focus, the company stated in a press release this week.
In February 2019, Frank became co-chief executive officer of Kapanu, which had been acquired by Ivoclar Vivadent in July 2017. Kapanu originated as a Swiss start-up and spin-off company of the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (Zurich federal institute of technology). The company develops innovative solutions in the field of visual computing and machine learning for the dental industry. At the International Dental Show 2017, Kapanu presented the world’s first real-time dental augmented reality app.
In June 2019, Frank took over as director of global brand and marketing communications at Ivoclar Vivadent and was responsible for brand management, customer experience, digital communication and scientific marketing. He previously held various sales and marketing roles at Salomon, Sonos and Logitech.
