Directa, an innovative manufacturer of dental consumables with headquarters in Sweden, is proud to introduce its latest advancement in restorative materials: FenderMate D-Coat.
FenderMate D-Coat is the latest addition to the renowned FenderMate series. The unique no-ring matrix system has been redesigned with a multilayer diamond coating that combines better visual contrast with anti-stick properties. High-quality Class II composite restorations can now be achieved without risk of adhesion to the matrix; pulling out FenderMate D-Coat after light curing is an effortless task as the amorphous diamond coating prevents adhesives from sticking to the surface.
The dark matt colour facilitates filling procedures by providing excellent contrast with the colour of the composite resin and reducing light reflection. Clinicians can therefore perform restorations under excellent visual conditions.
Like the original FenderMate, this new pre-curved matrix includes a contact point and comes attached to a specially designed wedge which allows tight cervical sealing with no overhang. The wing design of this matrix and wedge combination allows easy and safe placement while maintaining proximal separation and securing superior cervical adaptations.
Directa has been manufacturing and distributing internationally recognised quality dental consumables for over 100 years. Directa’s products are developed and evaluated by a select team of renowned, highly qualified Swedish and international dental professionals with the aim of making life easier for dental clinicians in their daily work.
