A particularly chromatic cervical area and pronounced mamelons in the incisal area—every natural tooth has its characteristic optical features stemming from its inner structure. The new Esthetic Colorant effect liquids for KATANA Zirconia enable users to imitate these features in monolithic restorations in an amazingly easy way.

Esthetic Colorant consists of 12 shading liquids specifically developed for the KATANA Zirconia multilayered series. The liquids are applied to the surface of the zirconia restoration after milling to individualise the highly aesthetic multilayered colour structure of these materials, except for WHITE and OPAQUE, which are used on the intaglio surface to mask discoloured teeth and metal abutments. Applied with a metal-free brush, preferably the Liquid Brush Pen, Esthetic Colorant diffuses into the pre-sintered material structure. Final sintering fixes the liquids and reveals the desired internal shade structure with true 3D depth effect.
