Aoralscan 3 Wireless—scanning without limits

Aoralscan 3 Wireless is SHINING 3D’s first wireless intra-oral scanner. It provides freedom from the restraints of a wired set-up and from secondary contamination, thus enhancing the whole treatment experience. The scanner provides a more comfortable experience for dentists and patients and has built-in Wi-Fi 6 technology that enables a seamless scanning experience with fast and stable data transmission.

Its main features include the following:

• Long battery life: Aoralscan 3 Wireless comes with three batteries included in the case, providing up to 2 hours of continuous scanning for each charge.
• Artificial intelligence scanning: Aoralscan 3 Wireless automatically identifies and filters out miscellaneous data, resulting in a quicker and neater scanning process.
• Motion sensing: Aoralscan 3 Wireless scans with minimal contact with the computer and ensures a safe and efficient scanning experience.
• Oral health report: Aoralscan 3 Wireless visually and comprehensively demonstrates the patient’s oral health condition, dramatically improving communication between the dentist and patient.

MetiSmile—beyond a smile

MetiSmile is a 3D facial scanner for dental applications. It can quickly capture data for 3D modelling and assist in clinical diagnosis with its advanced software. It is an integral component of digital dentistry and can be used for a wide range of clinical treatments, including in maxillofacial surgery, implant treatment, aesthetic restoration and orthodontics. In just 10 seconds, this highly perceptive scanner can take photographs of patients from multiple angles and simultaneously construct the 3D facial data.

Its acquisition cameras and 5 MP high-definition texture camera produce a scanning accuracy of within 50 μm. MetiSmile also captures elevated details of the teeth, and the software will align the facial and intra-oral scans that display the patient’s facial and oral information.

Its main features include the following:

• Orthodontic simulation: MetiSmile offers automatic lip extraction and one-click tooth segmentation.
• Facial feature measurement and comparison: the intuitive software of MetiSmile is capable of recognising 3D facial features. It can measure the distance of facial data and compare facial changes before and after treatment.
• Mandibular trajectory tracking: using this function, the clinician can acquire dynamic occlusion data. This module includes left and right lateral detection, and centric and open occlusion.

FabWash—smarter post-processing

FabWash is a fully automated part-releasing, washing and drying system that completes the AccuFab 3D-printing ecosystem. This multistage solution is built to deliver the ease of use, consistency, speed and cleanliness demanded by the modern dental clinic. FabWash, together with the AccuFab-D1s and AccuFab-L4D 3D printers, is the last piece in the SHINING 3D 3D-printing workflow, boasting a safe, efficient and hassle-free solution.

Its main features include the following:

• Automated workflow: FabWash is preprogrammed for each material to follow an automatic process of part release, washing and drying.
• Automated part release mode detection: FabWash is designed for instant release, eliminating the risk of damaging parts using traditional removal tools.
