BIRMINGHAM, England: The British Dental Conference & Dentistry Show 2026 opened today at the NEC in Birmingham. Free to attend for dental professionals, the event brings together more than 10,000 attendees, over 400 dental brands and more than 200 speakers under the theme “Shape the future of dentistry”.

Over the two days, visitors can attend a wide-ranging enhanced continuing education programme developed for the whole dental team. Sessions across the show’s dedicated theatres will cover clinical dentistry, digital workflows, leadership, business management, finance, wellbeing and compliance, offering practical insight for everyday practice.

Digital dentistry is a key focus of this year’s event, with sessions and exhibition features highlighting developments in artificial intelligence diagnostics, automation, 3D printing, digital treatment planning and restorative workflows. The exhibition will also give attendees the opportunity to explore the latest materials, equipment, software and services for dental practices and laboratories.

New for 2026, the ADI Implant Theatre, presented in partnership with the Association of Dental Implantology, will focus on implant innovation, digital workflows, surgical techniques and full-arch solutions. The new Clinical Excellence Theatre will feature leading clinicians from across the profession, while returning theatres, including the Practice Owners and Business Management Theatre and Dental Business Theatre, will address practice efficiency, patient retention, team experience and long-term business sustainability.
