COLOGNE, Germany: Further improving treatment workflows, making optimal use of digital technologies and ensuring practice success both today and in the future—it is exchanges on these topics that drive forward innovation at Dentsply Sirona, the company emphasised. The company will be presenting its very latest developments and providing live demonstrations, hands-on tutorials and ample opportunities to engage in technical discussions.

Dentsply Sirona will be offering an exciting programme for visitors to the 2019 International Dental Show (IDS): a chance to participate in courses on integrated endodontics, integrated implant dentistry and patient positioning for intra-oral radiographs, to observe CEREC live demonstrations at the booth and to learn about the latest workflow developments. “We are well aware that our strength lies in combining innovative products with intelligent workflows without compromising flexibility for dental professionals,” stressed Dentsply Sirona CEO Don Casey.

Customers’ experience is an integral part of Dentsply Sirona: “Our ideas are often inspired by conversations with them,” Casey added. Therefore, the booth will serve as a meeting point to celebrate this cooperation and to provide the opportunity to discover the latest trends in practice equipment design in 2019/2020. The company will be showcasing its entire product portfolio, and its experts are already eager to engage booth visitors according to their needs.

New technologies for first-class treatments

Dentsply Sirona will also be presenting Acuris, which the company describes as an innovation in implant dentistry based on a conometric concept that uses friction to secure the crown and the cap to the abutment. The company said that Acuris will be available for its three implant systems in time for IDS.

For endodontists, the new three-file sequence design from the TruNatomy range, together with an off-centred cross section for debris removal, offers more efficiency than previous files at a higher speed. It enables practitioners to work safely while preserving as much of the original tooth structure as possible. The system is complemented by the corresponding obturators and a flexible irrigation needle that ensures proper disinfection.

Orthodontists and their patients will benefit from In-Ovation X, the latest generation of self-ligating brackets, further improved in terms of functionality, user friendliness and design. Based on research on the dentist’s and patient’s needs, In-Ovation X now combines the necessary clinical performance with the expected wearing comfort.

Dentists, dental hygienists and prophylaxis assistants will profit from a new tool: the Purevac HVE high-volume aspirator with a built-in dental mirror, mirror tips and hose adapter. With its ability to remove 90 per cent more aerosols during certain procedures, the tool helps protect dental professionals and patients from harmful infections in the dental practice.
