Global dental meeting brings multidisciplinary focus to Tokyo
The sixth edition of the GC International Dental Symposium will take place on 3 and 4 October 2026 in Tokyo, bringing together dental professionals from around the world for a two-day scientific and educational programme. Organised by GC Corp., the event will feature 72 lectures delivered by internationally recognised speakers, complemented by structured networking opportunities and cultural activities.
The scientific programme is designed to address current developments across multiple disciplines, with dedicated and cross-disciplinary sessions for clinicians, specialists, dental hygienists and dental technicians. Topics will include team-based periodontal care, aesthetic and restorative prosthodontics, dental materials research, aligner therapy, implantology, endodontics and interprofessional collaboration between dentists and medical practitioners. The symposium reflects GC’s longstanding focus on materials science and its clinical application within contemporary workflows.
The event will be hosted at the Tokyo International Forum and will offer simultaneous interpretation in Japanese and English, supporting international exchange. Participants will be eligible to earn ADA/CERP continuing education credits. Surrounding the symposium, GC’s One Week of Excellence will include optional hands-on sessions and organised tours in Tokyo and the historic town of Nikkō, providing additional professional and cultural context alongside the scientific programme.
