Dental News - AMD LASERS founder recognized with 2012 Regents Technology Award

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., USA: AMD LASERS, a global leader in dental lasers and dental laser education, announced that the company’s founder and president, Alan Miller, has been awarded the 2012 Regents Technology Award from the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics for innovative developments that make the practice of those professions related to facial esthetics more effective, more efficient and more available.

“When we think of the single most significant advance in the dental profession over the past five years, we keep coming back to the popularization of the soft tissue laser. This has been, simply put, a quantum leap in the amelioration of services to our patients,” said Dr. George Freedman, co-founder and regent for the International Academy of Facial Esthetics. “Chairside diode lasers expand the clinical horizons of every general practitioner and specialist, making patient treatment better, faster, and easier and more comfortable.”

Miller expressed the company's appreciation for the award.
