NEW YORK, US: The Colgate Oral Health Network (COHN), the online continuing education (CE) platform of Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals, is celebrating its 15^th anniversary this year. Since its establishment, the platform has awarded more than 2.5 million CE certificates to over 450,000 dental professionals in more than 200 countries.

Launched in 2011, COHN serves as a one-stop resource for free dental CE for the entire dental team. The platform offers more than 200 CE units at any given time and provides access to a wide range of topics presented by internationally recognised experts. Content is available in multiple formats, including live and on-demand webinars, articles, case studies and CE podcasts.

“Colgate is proud of COHN’s 15-year legacy in providing dental professionals the highest quality dental continuing education”, said Dr Jason Goodchild, director of scientific affairs at Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals. “Colgate is committed to reimagining a healthier future for all people, including dental professionals and their patients,” he added.

In a recent survey involving more than 1,300 participants, 98.5% of respondents said they would recommend the platform to other dental professionals. One respondent commented: “I love that Colgate invests or gives back to the profession of oral health by offering free CE credit opportunities. It is so wonderful to be able to get CE from a reputable company that I have respected for years.” Another participant noted: “I really like many features of the Colgate Oral Health Network. First, the content is extremely helpful and necessary for providing high-quality patient care. I also enjoy attending the live webinars because you can ask questions in real time. Overall, I’m very grateful for this platform. It has been very helpful for my learning and professional development.”

COHN is hosted by Tribune Group, an approved PACE programme provider for fellowship, mastership and membership maintenance credit by the Academy of General Dentistry. The platform was also recently designated as an approved provider by the American Academy of Dental Hygiene.
