BARCELONA, Spain: Now in its tenth year, DentalForum is heading to Spain for the first Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) edition of the exclusive gathering of dental business leaders, building on the success of previous European editions and offering an even richer networking experience. Leading dental clinic networks will convene at the luxurious Eurostars Sitges hotel, just outside Barcelona, from 14 to 16 October for a programme of knowledge sharing, structured and informal engagement, and DentalForum’s signature one-to-one speed meetings with industry partners.
At the event, to be hosted by Dr Tarek Aly, chief operating officer of US dental support organisation Guardian Dentistry Partners, around 150 decision makers will discuss the future of the European dental industry and learn about the latest products and services that are shaping it. Attendees will include representatives of some of the region’s most influential dental groups, including PortmanDentex, Adria Dental Group, Donte Group and the European Dental Group, alongside Straumann Group as headline partners. Medit, Dentsply Sirona, Philips, Planmeca and BEGO will all be supporting in sponsor roles. Other suppliers in areas such as implantology, practice management software and business services will also attend.

DentalForum offers a unique platform for attendees to address common challenges, share insights and explore new strategies in order to propel their businesses forwards in today’s dynamic clinical and business environment. The 2024 conference programme includes workshops and structured networking sessions tailored to both dental groups and suppliers, seeking to ensure that every participant will gain valuable insights. The conference will cover topics such as the changing landscape of the European market, same-store growth and the optimisation of labour costs. Dental support organisations from Spain, Germany, Portugal and the Netherlands will also contribute to the programme. More sessions are still to be announced.
In addition to DentalForum’s educational and networking opportunities, OpenRoom Events, the organiser, is renowned for its informal and engaging networking experiences. Attendees can look forward to connecting over lunches, dinners and other social gatherings. The event will culminate in a final celebration dinner on the evening of 15 October at the Vivero Beach Club in Sitges.
