MADRID, Spain: Expodental 2026, to be held from 11 to 13 March at IFEMA Madrid in collaboration with Fenin, the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies, is gaining momentum, and the organisers are reporting strong support from across the dental industry. So far, 400 exhibitors have registered, surpassing participation levels of previous editions. Against this backdrop of growth, the upcoming edition will take place only on weekdays, a change intended to further emphasise the event’s professional focus.

Félix Pérez-Fajardo, director of Expodental, explained in a press release that the organisers are working to ensure that each edition continues to grow as a platform for innovation, training and business. In this context, the move to working days reinforces its commitment to providing a professional, dynamic environment aligned with the needs of the industry, he noted.

This year’s edition will centre on the theme “The Road to Dental Innovation” and will span three halls at IFEMA Madrid. Reflecting on the fair’s significance for innovation across the industry, Luis M. Garralda, president of Fenin’s dental division, said: “The fair is progressing as a reflection of the dental industry, which is continuing to grow and evolve at a great pace. It is a magnificent opportunity to show the world the importance of this fair, not only as a showcase for innovation and training, but as a unique opportunity to reaffirm the relevance and dynamism of our industry.”

Growth in international participation

International participation has also increased compared with previous editions. Expodental 2026 is expected to welcome around 160 international exhibiting companies, representing more than 350 brands from multiple countries, corresponding to a growth of 22%. The organisation believes that this development strengthens the event’s international positioning and its role as a global commercial platform for the dental industry. Additionally, it reflects exhibitors’ confidence in the dental industry and in Expodental as a venue for innovation, knowledge exchange and business development, as well as in its capacity to facilitate networking and long-term professional relationships.

Expodental LiveConnect

Expodental will again feature Expodental LiveConnect. This digital platform has been updated to further support networking with other professionals, scheduling of meetings and access to exclusive content and activities.

The event will take place alongside Expomedes, a professional trade fair for technology and innovation in aesthetic medicine, and Iberzoo-Propet, an international trade fair for the pet industry. Together, these parallel events will create a broad, cross-industry offering for the European healthcare sector.
