BERLIN, Germany: Some experts now believe that in order to obtain stable results in the medium and long term, the aesthetic zone should be treated in most procedures that are performed today. In a free webinar on Tuesday, 14 November, this will be the focus, as well as the use of various graft systems in conjunction with implants in cases of immediate loading and high aesthetic demand.

According to webinar presenter Dr Juan Arias, implant treatment, along with hard and soft-tissue augmentation techniques, is currently able to give highly stable results. Examining this and the advantages of guided surgery, Arias will share his expert advice and experience in the webinar, including advising on how to treat compromised cases with a combined analogue and digital workflow.

Arias received his degree in dentistry from the University of Madrid in Spain, has published numerous articles in national journals, and has held a number of courses and lectures on periodontics, implantology and multidisciplinary aesthetic treatments. Former director of the advanced periodontics postgraduate programme at the Universidad Europea de Madrid, Arias has a practice in Madrid specialising in periodontics, aesthetics and implant dentistry.

The 1-hour webinar, titled “Implant placement in high aesthetic situations”, will be broadcast live on Tuesday, 14 November, at 7 p.m. CEST. Attendance is free of charge after easy registration on the website. Participants will be able to ask questions via a chat window and have the opportunity to earn a continuing education credit by completing a multiple-choice questionnaire on the topic.
