MÜLHEIM, Germany: Frank Wirtz is the new Sales and Marketing Manager for META BIOMED Europe. In 2016, META BIOMED, a manufacturer of endodontic and restorative dentistry products, established its first European headquarters in Mülheim in order to increase its share in the European market.
Having previously worked for METASYS, Morita Europe and NWD Group, Wirtz began his new role overseeing all sales and marketing activities for the whole continent on 1 February. According to Managing Director Ian Yun, Wirtz is very knowledgeable in endodontic products. “Wirtz has over 30 years of national and international experience in marketing and selling high-quality dental products,” commented Yun. “With such experience in the dental industry, he is the perfect candidate to further expand and establish the META BIOMED brand in Europe.”
Established in 1990, the family-owned South Korean company META BIOMED now has over 1,000 employees and branches in Cambodia, China, Japan and the US. In its pursuit of leading technological innovation in dentistry, it has placed a strong emphasis on research and development and has continued to achieve breakthroughs in dental and surgical products and biomaterials. Two of its latest products are the i-ROOT electronic apex locator and E&Q Master cordless gutta-percha obturator.
