Solventum launches two products to enhance efficiency and patient-centred care in dental practices

In a significant move marking a new era of growth and innovation, 3M spun off its healthcare business effective from 1 April this year, resulting in the formation of a new, independently traded public company, Solventum. This strategic decision has created two world-class public companies, each well positioned to pursue their respective growth plans, allowing Solventum to continue its path as a global leader in diversified healthcare technology.

Solventum is now embarking on a journey to make a profound impact on the healthcare sector, building on the strong foundation laid by 3M Health Care. The transition to Solventum-branded packaging will be gradual, taking place over the next three to four years, and customers will be notified of changes well in advance to ensure a smooth and seamless experience.

To mark the beginning of this exciting new chapter, Solventum has announced the launch of two innovative products that reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to advancing healthcare technology: 3M Clinpro Clear Fluoride and 3M Filtek Easy Match.

3M Clinpro Clear Fluoride is a water-based, rosin-free treatment that offers quick and effective protection for enamel and dentine. Its ready-release formula ensures fluoride uptake in just 15 minutes, making it easier for patients to accept treatment without compromising on efficacy or convenience.

3M Filtek Easy Match Universal Restorative simplifies the dental restoration process with a three-shade system that delivers a bright, natural and warm match to almost any smile. With its naturally adaptive opacity, this intuitive solution eliminates the need for a blocker yet also takes on translucency where needed, offering consistent performance, handling and aesthetics for both anterior and posterior restorations.
