Dr Eric Kang Ting

Dr Eric Kang Ting graduated magna cum laude from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston in the US, receiving his DDM in 1991. In 1994, he earned a DMSc and a certificate in orthodontics from the same school. He is currently an adjunct professor at the Forsyth Institute in Cambridge in Massachusetts in the US. During his more than 20 years at the University of California, Los Angeles in the US, Dr Ting was a tenured professor and the founding chair of the Division of Growth and Development for the orthodontics and paediatric dentistry sections. Dr Ting’s research has received more than 12,000 citations and has been published in many leading journals, including Nature Communications, the Journal of Clinical Investigation, PLOS ONE and Biomaterials.
