Capture the moment with Ray’s 3D face scanner

RAYFace is a 3D face scanner for digital smile design. It scans the patient’s face in a single shot allowing users to capture the most natural smile in 0.5 seconds. The high-resolution camera, an optimal 3D lighting technology and the image sensors operate simultaneously to accurately capture the depth of the subject and creates realistic 3D data. The 3D digital lighting technology is safe for the subject’s eyes and skin and does not cause fatigue, allowing for a face with a natural smile.

Smile design increases case acceptance

Immediately after taking the image, users can start consultation and treatment planning using results of the 3D face scan analysis. During consultation, patients can see the before and after results in 3D which increases understanding of the treatment process and results. In addition, a mock-up veneer can be produced immediately using a 3D printer and then used for patient try-in. The software offers predictive analytics and the actual treatment process are flexibly linked, increasing adherence in treatment, and making it easier to proceed with complex cases.

Clinical applications

3D scanning technology can be utilised in various fields such as orthodontics, implantology, aesthetics and complex prosthetic treatments.
Scenario 1: Smile design consultation
Apply patient smile design virtually for effective consultation.
Scenario 2: Mock-up veneer and consultation
Create a mock-up veneer obtained through RAYFace and RAYDENT designer (CAD) directly with a 3D printer. Increase case acceptance rate by showcasing the mock-up veneer to the patient.
Scenario 3: Digital oral design and prosthetic fabrication without CT
Digital oral design solution with the help of RAYFace and specially designed Facial Scanbody, wich matches the patient’s tooth data with the 3D face data. This allows users to reproduce the patient’s digital face-bow, mounting more conveniently.
Scenario 4: Digital oral design, surgical guide and prosthetic fabrication with CT
Full digital oral design solution linked to CT helps to make a more accurate diagnosis in orthodontics, implantology and prosthetics.
