LEIPZIG, Germany: Dental Tribune International (DTI) is the official media partner of the third International Dental Exhibition Africa (IDEA), which is to be held in the Ethiopian capital city of Addis Ababa from 14–16 December. At the event, the publisher will be releasing the print edition of Dental Tribune Africa Sub-Saharan 1/17, as well as distributing a number of other DTI publications.
Chosen owing to it being one of the fastest-growing economies in Africa, Addis Ababa has emerged as a regional hub and is home to key international organisations. According to IDEA, this makes it the perfect location for dental companies interested in meeting African dental professionals and dealers.
Commenting on the company’s new publication, President and CEO of DTI Torsten Oemus said, “Africa is a growing dentistry market that needs information, training and affordable products. DTI wants to be one of the first media and education platforms to serve the needs of dental professionals all across Africa and is therefore introducing at IDEA the Dental Tribune Africa Sub-Saharan edition, as well as showcasing all of its other portfolio products.”
Managing editor and publisher of DT Africa Sub-Saharan Ursula Jenkins said, “The advancement of technology throughout Africa has vastly increased access to information, making it easier to reach out to the dental profession in the region. With the growing demand for new techniques, new products and innovations across the spectrum of dentistry, new markets are emerging. Dental Tribune Africa Sub-Saharan looks forward to being an essential partner in bringing together the profession and industry in developing the potential of this vibrant continent.”
Manufacturers interested in placing advertisements, press releases and product news in the editions can get in touch with the DTI sales team.
