For the first time, Dentsply Sirona presents Primescan 2, powered by DS Core,* at the International Dental Show (IDS), introducing the first cloud-native intra-oral scanning solution to a wide dental audience.

Building on the patented** and proven*** scanning technology of Primescan, Primescan 2 combines speed, accuracy and user-friendliness with new cloud-native features enabled by direct integration into DS Core. As a cloud-native intraoral scanner, Primescan 2 allows dentists to scan anytime and anywhere using a laptop, computer, tablet or other internet-connected device. It is ready for the next patient immediately after a scan is complete.

Scan data is automatically processed and stored on DS Core, enabling patient consultations, laboratory orders and treatment planning to take place independently on any available screen. The scan workflow on DS Core is intuitive and seamless, while the new intraoral scanner serves as an excellent starting point for a wide range of treatments that can be planned and managed on DS Core.
