Diagnostic considerations and treatment solutions: From research to practice
The 2026 Autumn Meeting of the European Society of Endodontology (ESE), organised in collaboration with the Lithuanian Society of Endodontology, will take place on 23 and 24 October in Vilnius, Lithuania. Hosted at the Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva, the meeting will bring together clinicians, researchers, educators and undergraduate and postgraduate students from across Europe and beyond. Under the theme “Diagnostic Considerations & Treatment Solutions: From Research to Practice”, the event will explore the translation of contemporary research findings into clinical decision-making in endodontology.
The scientific programme will focus on four core topics: vital pulp therapy, mineralisation and calcification, cracks and fractures, and retreatment. Lectures and moderated discussions will address both biological principles and clinical protocols, reflecting current evidence and emerging treatment concepts. For dental professionals, the meeting offers an opportunity to review diagnostic strategies, compare therapeutic approaches and consider how advances in materials science and imaging may influence daily practice and long-term outcomes.
For the first time, the Autumn Meeting will also include poster sessions in the categories of clinical practice, education and research. By integrating structured scientific exchange with opportunities for professional dialogue, the meeting aims to strengthen collaboration within the European endodontic community. As Lithuania hosts the ESE Autumn Meeting for the first time, the event also marks a milestone for regional academic engagement in endodontics while situating scientific exchange within the historic setting of Vilnius.
