SCHAAN, Liechtenstein: Supporting universities and students is a key element of Ivoclar’s philosophy and an essential part of its role as a leading provider of integrated solutions for dental teams. This year, the company invited the next generation of dental professionals to eight regional Ivoclar Academy centres for an educational summer school programme of supplemental learning opportunities.

Over five days, the young dental professionals were offered a diverse programme that featured workshops, open discussions, webinars and product training sessions. Lectures by well-known experts provided professional advice on how to interact with patients and the best way to kickstart a dental career. There were also ample opportunities to get to know one another and to learn from experienced members of the industry.

Ivoclar’s summer school aims to provide the ideal conditions for students to network with their peers and dental professionals. Participants can meet other students from all over the world, learn about new perspectives and become part of the international dental community. For Ivoclar, the opportunity for students to connect is as important as the provision of an exciting new learning environment.

Ivoclar’s summer school goes international

Ivoclar expanded its summer school programme this year, after a successful start in 2022. The programme was originally offered to dental students based in Europe; however, this year, the invitation was also extended to those in North America and Asia. In total, 117 students from 28 countries participated in the 2023 programme, ensuring the success of the courses at each of the eight regional training locations.

“We are delighted that the programme was well received by students across the world. Ivoclar values the relationships with all dental professionals, no matter where they are on their career path. We strive to offer a diverse and fitting academy programme for everybody,” commented Dr George Tysowsky, head of global training and education at the Ivoclar Group.

Ivoclar is happy to announce that its summer school programme will continue in 2024, featuring new locations and bringing learning opportunities to dental students across the globe.
