MONACO: Osstem Implant has announced its participation in the 32nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO 2025), which is being held in partnership with the French Society of Periodontology and Oral Implantology from 18 to 20 September in Monaco. This year marks Osstem’s third consecutive top-level sponsorship of the event. As well as exhibiting its dental implant solutions, the company is hosting hands-on sessions for young dentists and an industry forum dedicated to digital full-arch rehabilitation.
Osstem’s ongoing support for one of implant dentistry’s leading congresses is a display of its commitment to the European dental market. At Booth R48, attendees will find a broad portfolio of the company’s products, including dental implants, digital guides and guided bone regeneration solutions. Dedicated areas will also highlight Hiossen implants and Medit intra-oral scanners. Experts from Osstem’s headquarters in South Korea will be joined by colleagues from its European headquarters and subsidiaries in Germany, Italy, Spain, France and Portugal, offering on-site consultation in English and local languages.
Ki-Duck Kim, head of Osstem Implant Europe, commented: “After our participation in last year’s EAO congress in Milan, we saw a clear rise in brand recognition across Europe. We will continue to showcase our proven technology, product quality and expertise to European dental professionals, while also sharing valuable know-how with a broader audience.”

Founded in 1997, Osstem first participated in the EAO congress in Paris in 2004. The following year, the company established its German subsidiary, which has since become one of 37 overseas offices. Reflecting on the company’s growth, Kim noted that it was inspiring to see how Osstem had developed “from a small company with little recognition in Europe to a global brand and Diamond Sponsor of one of the most prestigious academic events”.
Hands-on workshop for young dentists
At EAO 2025, Osstem will host a hands-on workshop titled “My First Implant”. Aimed at young dentists and co-hosted by Dr Viraj Patel of the UK, the programme will combine theoretical instruction with practical exercises using Osstem’s 122 Taper Kit. The kit streamlines implant placement by requiring only one drilling step in soft bone, one in regular bone and two in hard bone, reducing the number of clinical steps compared with conventional kits. The session will be held on 18 September, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (CEST) in Room Nijinski.
Digital full-arch rehabilitation
Full-arch implant solutions have become a key focus for manufacturers as they respond to demographic trends such as ageing populations and growing oral health demands from older patients. On 19 September, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Osstem will address this trend by hosting the industry forum “FP1 Full-Arch Implant Rehabilitation: Transition from Analog to Digital Workflow”. Moderated by Prof. Ieva Gendviliene of Vilnius University in Lithuania, the forum will examine the adoption of digital protocols in full-arch rehabilitation, covering digital planning, guided surgery and CAD/CAM prosthetic workflows. Featuring presentations by Dr Nikhil Oberai of the UK, Dr Charles Zadikian of France and Dr Marco Tallarico of Italy, the forum will demonstrate how advances in digital technologies are enabling higher clinical success rates, improving long-term durability and aesthetics, and ultimately supporting better patient outcomes.
To further boost the congress experience, Osstem will offer premium catering at its booth and organise a “stamp tour” with giveaways, including its Leoger animal character and oral care kits. More information about the company’s educational programmes and participation in EAO 2025 is available on the Osstem website.
