VIENNA, Austria: For the first time, Osstem Implant, a global leader in dental implant technology and comprehensive dental solutions, will be participating in EuroPerio, the premier global congress in periodontal science. The company is a diamond sponsor of this year’s edition, which is taking place from tomorrow until Saturday in Vienna. Visitors will find Osstem at Booth F15, where it will be presenting its latest solutions across four categories: implants, surgical kits, guided bone regeneration materials and digital equipment. Product specialists and local representatives will offer consultations in English, German and French.
“Our own vision resonates deeply with the EFP’s noble mission to raise awareness about periodontal disease and contribute to improving the oral health of humanity. We are proud to showcase our highest-quality products, developed with our full research and development capabilities in periodontal science, at EuroPerio11,” said a company representative.
A highlight of Osstem’s exhibition will be its SOI (Super Osseointegration) surface, a fourth-generation implant surface technology that uses UV light and the HEPES buffering agent to enhance hydrophilicity and accelerate osseointegration. This innovation significantly reduces the healing period from up to six months to just one or two months and shows exceptional success rates in patients with compromised periodontal conditions.
Also to be featured is Hiossen’s NH (nano-hydroxyapatite) surface, a sandblasted and acid-etched surface enhanced with a bioactive hydroxyapatite layer of 10 nm in thickness. The coating promotes stability under high insertion torque and superior osseointegration, shortening the prosthetic treatment timeline by one to three weeks.
Osstem will also highlight its latest guided bone regeneration techniques. The company will introduce methods for tissue regeneration in patients with severe periodontal disease or edentulism. Visitors will be able to experience hands-on use of Osstem’s T2 CBCT unit and Medit’s intra-oral scanners and receive expert support on-site.
Additionally, Osstem will present its full suite of digital surgical kits, including the OneGuide KIT, OneCAS KIT, One485 KIT and OneMS KIT, tailored for various anatomical challenges. The newly launched IM-Cure KIT will also be introduced. This comprehensive set is designed to treat peri-implantitis while minimising implant surface damage.
On 15 May, the company will host a dedicated session for 190 dental professionals in the Stolz 2 conference room at 2:30 p.m., focusing on integrated treatment strategies that combine surgical, regenerative and digital approaches. Under the guidance of Prof. Péter Windisch from Semmelweis University in Budapest in Hungary, the session will feature lectures by renowned experts, Prof. Darko Božić of the University of Zagreb in Croatia, Prof. Vygandas Rutkūnas of Vilnius University in Lithuania and Italian periodontist Dr Fulvio Gatti.
To enhance visitor engagement, Osstem will also be hosting on-site events with giveaways featuring its brand mascot, Leoger. It will also provide catering services throughout.
