FLINT, Mich., US: IMPACT, a bold step forwards in the global communications of the International College of Dentists (ICD), has just been launched. As global editor and director of global communications at the ICD, I am proud to introduce this dynamic new format designed to keep our fellowship up to date and engaged.

IMPACT complements our redesigned website and real-time digital newsfeed at www.icd.org, where global stories are posted continually. This platform allows us to showcase the achievements of ICD sections, share humanitarian work by the ICD, feature news concerning ICD fellows and deliver messages from leadership promptly—on your desktop or mobile.

While The Globe journal will continue as our annual year-end review publication in both print and digital formats, IMPACT will bring timely, curated content directly to your inbox on a regular basis—enhancing, not replacing, our communications.

We encourage dental professional to support this evolving platform, and send their best stories, photographs and videos to the ICD, to help share the meaningful work of ICD fellows worldwide.
