LONDON, UK: The Dentistry Show London aims to present a hybrid expo and educational programme that is suited to the entire treatment team, and it has come “back with a bang!” the organisers said. Thousands of dental professionals visited the event this year, and the organisers have announced that it will return to the UK capital next year on 7 and 8 October.
This year’s event took place on 17 and 18 September and featured dozens of lectures on topics ranging from clinical excellence to compliance, aesthetic and digital dentistry, and dental business. Hands-on training opportunities and live demonstrations were also to be found on-site. The organisers said that the appetite for live dental meetings had been palpable at the venue and that the event had received praise from delegates, exhibitors and speakers alike.
Sheryl Boado of the Richard Beavan Dental Practice in London commented in a press release: “I’m excited to be here for the first time in a few years, especially after COVID restrictions. [I’m happy] to see old faces [and] am particularly interested in looking at dental chairs and what new products are available for scanners etc.”
“I came with my team, it’s a good bonding exercise and great to have contact with the wider industry,” remarked Rachael McGrane from the Private Treatment Centre in Salisbury, adding that she had been impressed by the selection of speakers and exhibitors.
The organisers said that thousands of dental professionals had been excited to return to the in-person event. “After nearly two years of staying apart, individuals and teams took full advantage of the opportunity to finally engage with friends and colleagues face-to-face,” they said, adding: “What a great start to the return of major live events for the dental team!”
See the Dentistry Show London website for more information about next year’s event at ExCel London.
