SINGAPORE: The Dental Tribune Study Club provides its worldwide audience of specialists and general dental practitioners with comprehensive learning opportunities for dental training. This typically takes the form of online seminars, but the continuing education platform also organises live lectures at congresses, such as its programme at IDEM. In this manner, the study club facilitates, promotes and simplifies global expertise transfer between science and practice.
At IDEM 2018, three speakers will contribute to the extensive educational programme being offered in Singapore. This year’s DT Study Club programme is composed of free-to-attend live lectures of 30 minutes each aimed at all visitors and conference attendees and will run on all three days of the event.
The DT Study Club programme on each congress day will start with Dr Claude-Jacques Cywie, Professional Education and Training Manager at Curaden, presenting a lecture titled “Become a coach in oral prophylaxis”. He will discuss ways to optimise prophylaxis protocols with the aim of advancing oral health care. Buldent Marketing Manager Rositsa Svetoslavova will then continue with “A full-service dental management ecosystem”. This lecture will focus on the PracticeDent practice management software and how to put it to effective use. The third presentation will be given by Curaden’s Clifford zur Nieden on the company’s Prevention One business model, which provides a comprehensive prevention approach for oral health in addition to conventional prophylactic treatment for practices, helping to activate and motivate existing customers, as well as generate new ones.
The DT Study Club will be located at Booth 6J-32 on Level 6 of the IDEM Singapore exhibition. The full programme is shown below.
