The company is presenting the A-dec 500 Pro and A-dec 300 Pro delivery systems, which incorporate touchscreen controls designed to bring clinical information and system functions into the dentist’s working area. Depending on the configuration, the systems can support functions including endodontic treatment and dental implant procedures.
The A-dec 500 Pro can be equipped with the 7-inch DS7 touchscreen, whereas the A-dec 300 Pro can be configured with the 5-inch DS5 touchscreen. Depending on the configuration, the systems can support endodontic functions, including apex location and file libraries. The A-dec 500 Pro with DS7 additionally supports functions for dental implant treatment, including irrigation control, real-time torque information and maximum torque control.
A-dec+ extends these capabilities across treatment rooms. Personalised profiles and settings can be applied across enabled delivery systems, and on-screen messaging allows dental team members to communicate between operatories during treatment. “By allowing personalised profiles and seamless communication across delivery systems, the A-dec+ platform helps dental practices deliver better patient care with confidence and precision,” Toman said.
The congress also gives A-dec an opportunity to discuss with clinicians how digital integration is being adopted in different practice environments and where greater connectivity could support more efficient workflows without adding unnecessary complexity. Visitors to the FDI World Dental Congress can experience the A-dec Pro delivery systems and A-dec+ platform and speak with the company’s team during the event. The company’s booth (A41–A46) is located on Floor 0. More information can be found at europe.a-dec.com.
