PRAGUE, Czech Republic: As dental professionals from around the world gather for the FDI World Dental Congress in Prague, the accompanying industry exhibition offers an opportunity to explore new products and broader developments affecting daily dental practice. At the A-dec booth, one focus this year is the dental operatory and how equipment design can support ergonomics, workflow and long-term use.
Among the solutions on display is A-dec Performer eVo, the latest addition to the company’s dental equipment portfolio. The system has been developed with a focus on ergonomics, flexibility and durability, reflecting practical considerations that influence how clinicians and dental teams work throughout the day.
The A-dec team is on hand throughout the congress to answer visitors’ questions about Performer eVo and its configuration options.
Among the solutions on display is A-dec Performer eVo, the latest addition to the company’s dental equipment portfolio. “Performer eVo represents the future of operatory design, combining ergonomic flexibility with robust durability,” said Shane Seddon, A-dec’s regional manager for Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Congress attendees can experience the system firsthand and explore its configuration options. The Radius 300 delivery system has an ambidextrous design that allows it to be adapted for right- and left-handed users. Performer eVo can also accommodate up to two integrated electric motors, allowing practices to configure the unit according to their clinical requirements.
According to A-dec, key components are tested to simulate up to 20 years of use, and Performer eVo is backed by a ten-year warranty. The dental chair supports a maximum patient weight of 181 kg. The system also incorporates an LED operating light with touchless adjustment, three intensity settings, three-axis positioning and a cure-safe mode. According to A-dec, the LED light uses up to 75% less energy than traditional halogen lights.
“A-dec’s products are designed to support clinicians in their working environment. These solutions accommodate different working styles, ultimately helping dental teams deliver exceptional care with comfort and confidence,” Seddon said.
Beyond presenting its equipment, A-dec’s participation in the congress provides an opportunity to exchange perspectives with clinicians and dental teams from different markets. These discussions can offer insight into how expectations of the dental operatory are evolving.
Visitors to the FDI World Dental Congress can explore Performer eVo and speak with the A-dec team during the event in Prague. More information can be found at europe.a-dec.com.
