IMOLA, Italy: To perform quality dental treatments, good lighting is essential. Italian company Cefla designs dental units and instruments, advanced radiographic imaging systems and sterilisation devices. Now, the company has announced its fifth business unit, Cefla Lighting.
According to Cefla, the unit will aim to consolidate the company’s position in the lighting and wireless connectivity fields based on the expertise gained in the high-tech lighting segment through the experience of creating C-LED, a former subsidiary specialised in the design and production of electronic applications and personalised lighting solutions.
“The creation of the new lighting BU [business unit] is the continuation of a project, embarked on some time ago, to invest in the creation of value, as recent trialling of the ‘Grow Unit’, of smart lighting and the design of wellness-enhancing light all clearly demonstrate,” said Managing Director of Cefla Lighting Alessandro Pasini.
Already operating in the medical, horticultural, retail, industrial and outdoor fields, the new unit of Cefla will also work with LED technology in the design of solutions for public lighting, visual merchandising, interior design, indoor lighting and greenhouses.
“Just as it laid the foundations for the recognition received during C-LED’s brief life, close collaboration with our partners will play a vital role in our continued growth. The results achieved by C-LED, founded in 2016, instil us with confidence for the future of the new lighting BU. Thanks to solid daily teamwork with our stakeholders, that future looks very bright indeed,” commented Pasini.
