LEMGO, Germany: Komet Dental, one of the world’s largest brands for rotary dental instruments and systems, will host its first International Endodontic Summit (IES) in Berlin in Germany on 1 and 2 October. The two-day continuing education (CE) event will bring together internationally recognised experts and general dentists with a strong focus on endodontics. The programme is centred on evidence-based concepts, structured clinical decision-making and content with direct relevance to daily practice.
More specifically, the scientific programme focuses on advanced clinical endodontics and follows the complete clinical workflow, from diagnosis and therapeutic strategies to treatment techniques and post-endodontic restoration. Topics include artificial intelligence in the dental practice and in endodontics, current concepts in pulpotomy, timing and efficiency, bioceramic sealers, the management of endodontic failures, and restorative treatment concepts, including CAD/CAM. The lectures will be delivered by renowned international speakers from Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK, including Drs José Antonio González Sánchez, Rupert Austin, Sebastian Bürklein and Marco Veneziani. Additional discussion formats are intended to deepen the content and encourage professional exchange.

“The IES was created to foster scientific depth, structured clinical thinking and meaningful professional exchange. With a clear focus on advancing endodontic excellence and translating evidence-based knowledge into everyday clinical practice,” said Dr Massimo Gagliani, the scientific coordinator of the programme.
Attendance is limited to 300 participants in order to support focused peer-to-peer dialogue and direct exchange with the speakers. Alongside the scientific programme and evening event, the setting at Hotel Oderberger Berlin is intended to provide an environment conducive to in-depth discussion. Early-bird registration for IES is available for €699 until 31 May. The regular fee is €749 and includes all sessions, catering, the evening event and summit materials. Participants from Germany can earn 14 CE credits upon full participation in the scientific programme and successful completion of the test at the end of the event.
