COLOGNE, Germany: Philips has over 130 years of experience in driving healthcare innovation and delivering state-of-the-art solutions that improve people’s health and well-being. At the 2025 International Dental Show in Cologne, the company has strengthened its reputation as one of the most trusted toothbrush brands by introducing its Next Generation Sonicare technology, designed to maximise impact on oral health while minimising impact on the planet.

“Your mouth is your gateway to your body,” Francesco Grillo, head of the oral healthcare global business unit at Philips, explained during a press breakfast. To protect this vital gateway, he emphasised the importance of technology that is simple, pleasant and effective with daily use—qualities delivered by Philips Sonicare 5000–7000 series toothbrushes.

Designed with user comfort and effectiveness in mind, the toothbrushes feature ultra-soft bristles for a gentle yet thorough brushing experience and superior plaque removal. They also include an integrated visual pressure sensor to protect teeth and gingivae from excessive brushing force, complemented by an advanced motor that automatically adapts brushing speed for optimal oral care.
