CUXHAVEN, Germany: Thanks to recent cooperation between the dental material manufacturer VOCO and SHINING 3D Dental, a supplier of fully integrated 3D dental solutions, it is now possible to utilise V-Print materials with the AccuFab-L4D printer. The FabCure 2 post-polymerising unit from SHINING 3D Dental is also optimally compatible with a range of V-Print materials. This new collaboration means that the VOCO system partners are joined by another great producer, allowing practices and dental laboratories to benefit from an attractive selection of materials.
“From models and surgical guides to splints and denture bases right up to the production of temporary crowns and bridges: the V-Print printing resins have an extensive range of applications covered. In use, they impress with both maximum precision and true added value in handling,” said Dr Axel Bernecker, head of marketing at VOCO. “In combination with a first-class printer like the AccuFab-L4D and the FabCure 2 post-curing unit from SHINING 3D Dental, outstanding results are practically guaranteed,” continued Dr Bernecker.
Optimally adapted for printed objects of the highest quality
The prerequisite for accurate results is resin and printer compatibility. The AccuFab-L4D delivers a high level of precision and surface quality as standard. In addition, post-exposure for a variety of V-Print printing materials with the FabCure 2 was validated.
New: V-Print c&b temp for long-term temporary restorations
V-Print c&b temp, the tenth member of the V-Print family, was introduced at the International Dental Show in Cologne in Germany this year. The highly filled composite can be used to produce temporary restorations in the digital workflow. The material is even indicated for multi-unit bridges and long-term temporary restorations. Using additive production for these purposes allows almost infinite design possibilities compared with traditional milling. The translucency and natural fluorescence of V-Print c&b temp exceed all aesthetic demands placed on a temporary restoration. In addition, the material can be customised and polished with ease.
