Dr Giulia Pascoletti

Dr Giulia Pascoletti is a research fellow in the Department of Engineering at the University of Perugia in Italy. She earned a BSc, MSc and PhD in mechanical and industrial engineering from the same university and was a postdoctoral researcher at the Polytechnic University of Turin in Italy. Her work focuses on biomechanics, especially numerical modelling (multibody and finite element) for orthopaedic prosthetic devices and human body simulations. She has also investigated statistical methods for shape analysis, particularly statistical shape models, morphing techniques and principal component analysis.
