Dr Otto Zuhr

Dr Otto Zuhr is a prominent expert in periodontics and implant dentistry. He studied dentistry at RWTH Aachen University in Germany from 1986 to 1992 and later specialised and obtained board certification through the German Society of Periodontology. He operates a private practice in Munich in Germany, along with Dr Markus Hürzeler, focusing on periodontics and implant dentistry. Dr Zuhr is also an associate professor in the department of periodontics at Goethe University Frankfurt in Germany. He has authored numerous scientific articles and co-authored the highly regarded book Plastic-Esthetic Periodontal and Implant Surgery (Quintessence, 2012). His research primarily centres on soft-tissue wound healing and reconstruction, and he lectures internationally on these topics.
