Andrew Medical’s implants use a revolutionary dental implant technology utilising laser-fused titanium powder to create implants with a 3D surface that closely mimics natural bone structure, enhancing osseointegration. Unlike conventional 2D textured implant surfaces, this method produces a highly resistant structure with interconnected pores, promoting faster and more effective bone integration. The implants are characterised by a rootlike shape with a compact solid core and an external porous surface capable of stimulating bone growth. This special design presents a 3D surface of apparent cancellous bone to bone cells, imitating the bone structure into which the implant is placed.
The Type K implant features a 12-degree conical connection for optimal stability, minimising micro-movements and bone resorption. It is available in different diameters and lengths, and comes with a number of accessories. The prosthetic components, including healing screws, T-BASE, and scan abutments, are designed for precise fit and ease of use, with materials ensuring biocompatibility and strength.
