The first webinar, titled “Blueprint to smile: Full-mouth implant rehabilitation in the digital era”, will be presented by periodontist Dr John Tsourounakis and take place on 15 October at 8 p.m. CET. The webinar will outline step by step a structured digital workflow for treating full-mouth implant cases, from initial diagnosis to provisional restoration. Participants will learn how to build a thorough diagnostic base that brings together facial and dentolabial parameters, soft-tissue architecture and the amount of bone available to guide the choice between different prosthetic design options and inform the development of a prosthetically driven treatment plan using a digital workflow.
Dr Tsourounakis graduated with a DDS from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece and later obtained a certificate in periodontics and completed a postgraduate fellowship in dental implantology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center at New Orleans in the US. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and works at a multi-specialty dental practice in Winnipeg in Manitoba in Canada.

The second webinar, “Clearly aligned: Achieving esthetic harmony in lateral teeth”, will be presented by cosmetic dentist Dr Dimple Desai and be held on 26 October at 6 p.m. CET. The webinar will address the aesthetic and functional considerations influencing maxillary lateral incisor position and angulation, the relationship of the lateral incisors to adjacent teeth, and the influence of lateral incisor alignment on aesthetics, function and restorative treatment planning.
A well-known speaker both in the US and abroad, Dr Desai earned her degrees in dental hygiene and dental surgery from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles in the US, where she was also a clinical adjunct professor at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. She is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the founder of Luminous Smiles, an interdisciplinary dental practice in Newport Beach in California in the US.

The webinar will examine biological healing patterns at extraction sites and strategies for predictably managing or improving hard- and soft-tissue outcomes, giving particular attention to the use of resorbable biomaterials. Participants will learn how to assess alveolar socket conditions, select appropriate tissue management strategies for different clinical scenarios and apply preservation techniques to support post-extraction healing.
Dr Perelli graduated in dentistry from the University of Turin in Italy and holds a master’s degree in soft-tissue management around teeth and implants from the University of Bologna in Italy. He is in private practice in Turin, focusing mainly on periodontics and implantology.
