CHARLOTTE, N.C., US: Dentsply Sirona (DS) has recently launched a new educational programme for dental professionals, the Indirect Restorative Course Series—a self-paced online course series that focuses on how digital dentistry can enhance the treatment outcomes of indirect restorations. The series covers the latest advancements in digital technology, the science behind material selection, the incorporation of new technology into dental practice and digital workflows for indirect restorations. It consists of 11 courses and will take participants from foundational level to procedure-based level and, finally, to mastery level.

One of the featured instructors in the Indirect Restorative Course Series, Dr Alan Atlas, clinical professor of restorative dentistry and endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania in the US, highlighted the innovative approach to learning in the new courses. He stated: “As Albert Einstein once said, ‘We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.’ Interactive procedure-based learning makes online learning more fun, interesting and engaging. This course series is designed to inspire a fresh perspective and elevate the learning experience for dental professionals.”
