DUBAI, UAE: Earlier this month, over 1,200 dental professionals from 50 countries gathered at the Grand Hyatt Dubai for Densply Sirona World Dubai 2025. Held under the theme “Pioneers of Digital Dentistry”, the regional event provided premium clinical education and networking opportunities, as well as a detailed look at Dentsply Sirona’s latest innovations.

This third edition of the regional clinical education series delivered a programme designed to empower dental professionals. Participants were able to connect with peers and industry leaders in an environment that was ideal for sharing experiences and broadening professional horizons. Featuring hands-on workshops and extensive networking opportunities, the event aimed to inspire and instil confidence in dental professionals by providing practical insights into the transformative power of digital dentistry.

The programme highlights included the orthodontics workshop “With SureSmile we simplify the complex”, presented by Dr Nour Salman, an orthodontist from Spain; the dental implantology workshop “Exploring the efficacy of digital technologies in full arch reconstructions”, led by Dr Mischa Krebs, an implant dentist from Germany; and the CAD/CAM workshop titled “The digital workflow in smile makeovers and full mouth rehabilitations”, held by Dr Baraa al-Srouji, a dentist from the UAE specialising in aesthetic restorative dentistry. The sessions were moderated by Dr Doaa Taha, associate professor of fixed prosthodontics at Ain Shams University in Cairo in Egypt, and Dr Reham el-Basty, associate professor of fixed prosthodontics at Cairo University.
