DAMRSTADT, Germany: Exocad, an Align Technology company and leading dental CAD/CAM software provider, has announced its upcoming global event, Insights 2026, to be held from 30 April to 1 May in Palma de Mallorca in Spain next year. Under the theme “Calling all heroes”, the event will highlight multidisciplinary digital dentistry, bringing together professionals from around the world to explore the latest innovations and collaborative workflows.
The two-day programme will offer a high-quality educational experience, featuring lectures from renowned international speakers and exocad experts, as well as in-depth breakout sessions tailored to the needs of dental technicians and clinicians. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a vibrant Innovation Expo, showcasing solutions and product innovations from more than 50 companies in the dental industry.
Insights 2026 will be held at the Palma Congress Center and feature an Innovation Expo, at which more than 50 partners from the dental industry will be showcasing the latest products in digital dentistry.
“Insights 2026 is about bringing the global dental community together in one incredible event,” said Novica Savic, chief commercial officer and managing director at exocad. “With many thought-leading speakers and the vast array of partners on board, this event will be more diverse and inspiring than ever. We’re expecting more than 850 digital dentistry heroes to join us in Palma for two unforgettable days of learning, networking and dental excellence.”
At Insights 2026, a dynamic lineup of global experts will deliver practical, future-focused perspectives across every facet of digital dentistry. Caroline Kirkpatrick, a clinical dental technician from Scotland, will challenge conventional thinking by inviting crown and bridge technicians to reconsider the potential of removable prosthetics. Canadian digital designer and exocad independent certified trainer Seth Potter will reveal how smile design can be a powerful driver of business growth. Dr Zhiqiang Luo from China, a clinical instructor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in the US, will highlight the transformative advantages of the digital patient, while Dr Marco Tallarico, assistant professor in dental prosthesis at the University of Sassari in Italy, will present an interdisciplinary workflow integrating exocad ART and exoplan.
In addition, German dental technician Lukas Wichnalek, the founder of the HIGHFIELD.DESIGN Mexico laboratory, will introduce a standardised method for patient data acquisition using TruSmile tools to enhance aesthetics and clinic–lab collaboration. Rounding out the programme, Dr Alexis Ioannidis, head of fixed reconstructive dentistry at the University of Zurich in Switzerland, and German dentist Michaela Sehnert will explore how communication-centered workflows and the fully integrated digital platform from exocad can improve patient outcomes and practice profitability.
China named partner country
For the first time, exocad is introducing a partner country for Insights 2026. Exocad will highlight a different country at each Insights event to foster international exchange, celebrate diversity and showcase unique regional perspectives in digital dentistry. China has been selected as the partner country for Insights 2026.
