DARMSTADT, Germany: Exocad, an Align Technology company and a leading dental CAD/CAM software provider, has recently announced that qualifying university students can now purchase DentalCAD, ChairsideCAD or exoplan licences at a discount for personal training. The licences will be available for purchase for €150 per year through select resellers in Central and South America, and the company says that more regions will be added soon.
“The demand for education in digital dentistry is growing in South America,” said João Bosco, sales manager for South America at exocad. “We want to support those forward-thinking students who want to advance their skills by offering them exocad’s expansive digital tools at a price point they can afford,” he noted.
With the student licences, dental students can practise and learn exocad software workflows on their computer from anywhere and combine the tools with their university education. To be eligible, students must provide proof of registration for a recognised dental university programme. The licences have been available since 8 August.
