Monthly exocad credits now available for AI-enabled services

DARMSTADT, Germany: Exocad, an Align Technology company and a leading dental CAD/CAM software provider, has announced that users of its DentalCAD 3.2 Elefsina now have exocad credits included with their licences. These credits can be used to access exocad’s services that employ artificial intelligence (AI). A set number of credits is provided with qualifying licences each month, and the credits can currently be used for TruSmile Photo, TruSmile Video and AI Design.

“We’re thrilled to include exocad credits, which offer our users flexible access to our AI-enabled services,” said Novica Savic, chief commercial officer of exocad. Because over 70,000 licences have already been sold, “more dental professionals than ever are benefiting from the speed, reliability and productivity that exocad software is known for,” Savic explained.

Monthly licence credits

Users of the DentalCAD 3.2 Elefsina feature release (Build 9036 or later) in the EU and US who hold qualifying Flex or Perpetual licences with an active upgrade contract will automatically receive a fixed monthly number of licence credits. Flex licences provide 30 licence credits per month and Perpetual licences ten licence credits per month. Licence holders can also purchase additional account credits.

AI-enabled services

TruSmile Photo and TruSmile Video offer emotionally engaging visualisations of expected treatment outcomes based on laboratory technicians’ real tooth set-ups, and AI Design provides laboratories with design suggestions for single-unit crowns. Access to these services requires integration with the my.exocad platform and is currently available in the EU and US, and plans are in place to expand to additional regions.
