BERLIN, Germany: This year’s ROOTS SUMMIT, a major biennial event in the global endodontic calendar, will take place from 28 June to 1 July in the German capital of Berlin. With the speaker details already available, the event organisers have now released the schedule for practical workshops, extending the programme. The sessions will be led by internationally prominent practitioners in the field and take place on 28 June.
The 90-minute hands-on workshops are being sponsored by some of the leading suppliers of oral care products and services, including META BIOMED, Dental Engineering Laboratories, KaVo Kerr, COLTENE and FKG Dentaire (a full sponsor list can be viewed here). Twenty presenters have confirmed their participation. Among them are Drs Stephen Buchanan, Mario Zuolo, Walter Vargas, Beatriz Del Valle and Klaus Lauterbach. Buchanan, who is internationally well known for his patented dental instruments and techniques, will train participants in state-of-the-art endodontic procedures, with practice in anterior and premolar TrueTooth training replicas, using contemporary concepts of access, negotiation, shaping, irrigation and 3-D obturation.
The ROOTS SUMMIT, the premier discussion forum for endodontics, is again being organised in collaboration with Dental Tribune International. More information can be obtained from www.roots-summit.com. Viewing of the schedule and registration for the hands-on sessions and the event itself can be done at www.roots-summit.com/register/. Up to 24 participants per workshop will be accommodated in five fully equipped study rooms.
