Kuraray Noritake Dental invites dental professionals to use its new chroma map catalogue to simplify and inspire in cases of anterior restoration. (All images: Kuraray Noritake Dental/Dumitru Leahu)
PARIS, France: Craze lines, shape variations, age-related changes or medication-induced discoloration—every tooth is unique. Even with a specific porcelain system and production technique, ceramic anterior restorations require an individualised approach. To helptechnicians simplify their layering workflow using the micro-layering technique and CERABIEN MiLai, Kuraray Noritake Dental has collaborated with dental technician Dumitru Leahu to create a chroma map cataloguethat guides users of all experience levels through seven typical anterior restoration cases.

Each case example in the catalogue includes a detailed screenshot of the framework design, chroma maps outlining the planned steps, images of internal staining and micro-layering, and the completed restoration on the model. Dental professionals will also find essential information about the selected framework material, target shade and other relevant details.
Kuraray Noritake Dental invites dental professionals to use the catalogue as a step-by-step guide to success or simply as inspiration for individual cases. It offers a fast track to understanding the material’s optical properties and will simplify the planning of micro-layering cases. Serving as a basis for individual creativity, the catalogue offers expert guides that help dental professionals progressively develop their own maps and techniques.
