An early educational highlight will be the EAO My first implant session on 24 September, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., which Osstem is supporting. Organised by the EAO Junior Committee, the initiative combines theoretical and practical education for clinicians at the beginning of their implant training and reflects Osstem’s long-standing focus on structured clinical education.

At the booth, the focus will shift from lectures to hands-on activities. Participants will be able to explore treatment concepts and workflows in implant dentistry, guided surgery and guided bone regeneration. Interactive activities will include a badge-scanning event and a stamp tour covering different areas of the Osstem portfolio.

One of the key moments in Lisbon will take place on 25 September, during the lunch break from 12:30 to 12:40 p.m., when Marta Pinto, marketing manager at Osstem Implant Portugal, will present “KS 3: The new cornerstone for the next decade” as part of the EAO Innovation Hub. As Portugal is hosting this year’s EAO congress, Pinto will represent the local Osstem team and provide insights into this important new development. The presentation will introduce the New KS 3 implant and provide a focused look at the thinking behind its development. The wider New KS implant line, making its European debut at EAO 2026, also includes KS 3T and KS 5, which are designed for different clinical indications. The Lisbon programme will provide the first opportunity in Europe to see how the three designs expand Osstem’s implant offering.

Another central programme point will be Osstem’s industry forum on 26 September from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. Drs Silvio Mario Meloni, Darko Božić and Marco Tallarico will discuss “Sinus augmentation revisited: Rationale, innovation and clinical guidelines for modern implant therapy.” The session will address rehabilitation of the posterior maxilla, focusing on case selection, treatment planning and surgical strategies, including crestal sinus elevation and controlled techniques, as well as the role of digital planning and guided workflows in improving precision, safety and clinical outcomes.

The timing also coincides with the approach of a company milestone. Founded in South Korea in 1997, Osstem will mark its 30^th anniversary next year. The New KS line-up reflects a broader effort to build on established clinical experience while continuing to develop products, workflows and education.

That emphasis on clinical exchange will continue at the Osstem Europe Meeting 2026 in Prague on 13 and 14 November, preceded by pre-congress courses on 12 November. Under the theme “Mastering the unexpected: Pathways from complications to predictable success”, the meeting will address the prevention, recognition and management of complications in implant dentistry. International speakers will share practical strategies, approaches to clinical decision-making and lessons from challenging cases.
