2016 European Carriere Symposium

The 2016 European Carriere Symposium, presented by Henry Schein Orthodontics, will take place from 22 to 24 September 2016 in Barcelona, Spain, at the five-star hotel W Barcelona. This annual event will feature lectures on the most progressive topics in today’s orthodontic industry.

The program begins with a welcome reception and dinner, an opportunity for guests to meet and socialize with the speakers and other doctor. Keynote speaker Dr. Luis Carrière will present Innovations in Self-Ligation Orthodontics. Program Chairman, Dr. David Paquette, will lecture on "An inside view of orthodontic products of the future". An additional host of powerhouse speakers will be presenting their research as well.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive a day or two prior to the symposium to experience a dazzling cultural event held each year in Barcelona; La Merce Festival. Throughout the week (18 to 24 September)  the city celebrates in honor of their patron saint, the Virgin of Mercy. Each day of this exciting festival, elaborate parades fill the streets with paper machè giants, fire runners, Castellers forming human castles, and synchronized musical fireworks.

The W Barcelona, shaped like a large mirrored sail, is situated on the coastline with direct access to the beach. When staying here, visitors are treated to 360˚ panoramic views.
