FRANKFURT AM MAIN, Germany: Formnext, a leading international exhibition and convention for additive manufacturing (AM) and industrial production, will take place from 17 to 20 November at Messe Frankfurt. Companies from across the AM value chain will present products, applications and manufacturing solutions relevant to a wide range of industries, including dentistry. For dental professionals, the event will offer an opportunity to look beyond dentistry-specific solutions and explore developments in materials, software and manufacturing technologies for their potential relevance to dental manufacturing.
The event will also facilitate exchange with machine manufacturers, material suppliers, software developers, research institutions and users, supporting knowledge transfer between industries. Visitors can compare approaches across different application areas, and the supporting programme will include presentations, case studies and panel discussions on current developments and challenges in AM, as well as networking opportunities.
A broader view of dental manufacturing
In 2025, more than 800 companies exhibited at Formnext. The event welcomed over 38,000 visitors.
In dental manufacturing, the performance of an individual printer or material is only one part of the production process. Process reliability, quality assurance, workflow efficiency and the interaction between software, materials and manufacturing systems can affect the consistency and efficiency of the overall workflow. Formnext 2026 will provide an opportunity to examine how these issues are being addressed across the wider manufacturing sector.
Exhibitors will present developments in hardware, materials, software, automation, post-processing and quality assurance, providing a broad overview of current technologies and industry trends. For dental professionals, this will also allow material developments to be considered alongside the technologies used to process and post-process them and in relation to quality assurance.
Tickets purchased by 22 October are available at the early-bird price. More information can be found at formnext.com/visitors.
